i've been a clothing designer since 1991 and love to teach people how to make their own clothes. i dream of a world in which everyone is wearing clothes made by hand, either their own hand or another artisan's. i don't actually sell sewing patterns -- though i may in the future -- but rather teach people how to draft their own patterns, largely because i don't want to leave anyone out. sewing patterns, just like store-bought clothes, can't actually fit everyone because of the infinite range of body sizes, shapes and proportions. but i teach the drafting and sewing of many different types of garments, so i will be listing those here. check out my book, Design-It-Yourself Clothes, or my website for more info!
