About
Lisa Congdon is an artist and designer based in Portland, Oregon. Self-trained, she started her art career later in life and became known for her popular line drawings, colorful paintings, and hand lettering. Inspired by the world around her, her travels, and a heavy dose of Scandinavian design aesthetic, her artwork can be found in books, on wallpaper and fabric, and as a myriad of other products, and she also regularly has shows of her original art. She has illustration, surface design, and writing clients around the world that include MoMA, Harvard University, Martha Stewart Living, Chronicle Books, The Land of Nod, Simon & Schuster, and Cloud9 Fabrics, among many others.
