Inspired by a paisley floral design called Kandahar and later Bursa, which was created in 1968 and printed at Liberty's Merton printworks. Large trails of oriental-style paisley leaves are linked by small flowers arranged in garland-like shapes. It was revived in the late 1970's for the AW 1978 furnishing collection.
