The Convertible Annika bag is the perfect size for carrying everyday items - as a shoulder or a crossbody bag or as a backpack. Convert this bag from a shoulder bag to a backpack by unclipping the strap from side connectors to back connectors. It features 2 front zipper pockets (the smaller one is optional), 1 back zipper pocket (optional), 1 interior zipper pocket (optional) and 1 interior slip pocket (optional). This bag is finished with binding

Finished size approx:

10.5" tall
10" wide
4.5" deep

Skill level: Intermediate (there are some tight curves)

Fabrics needed:

- Exterior (vinyl, cork, canvas or quilt weight cotton) – ½ yard, width 44” (For best results I recommend mid weight vinyl or thicker canvas fabric)
- Lining – ¾ yard, width 44” or WPC ½ yard, width 60”
- 1 yard woven fusible interfacing (if using canvas and/or quilt weight cotton)
- 5” Decovil Heavy, Peltex or other similar stabilizer
- 1 yard Decovil Light if using quilt weight cotton for the exterior
- 3 yards 1.5” webbing
- 2½ yards of ½” double fold bias tape or 1” wide WPC strips
- Double sided tape
- A stiletto to help sewing the corners

Hardware needed:

- 30”-56” #5 zipper tape (depending on if and how many optional zipper pockets you choose to add)
- 2-6 #5 zipper pulls (depending on if making all optional zipper pockets and optional double pull on main zipper closure)
- 4 x1” D-rings
- 1 x 1.5” D-ring
- 8 rivets
- 2 x 1.5” swivel hooks
- 1 x 1.5” slide adjuster
