From EVIE la LUVE:

This Arielle pattern has become a staple in my knicker draw! They are a tanga fit with very little coverage over the bum. More coverage than a thong (like my Chloe or Lyla patterns) but not as much coverage as a hipster fit (Binky panties) or my high leg Frankie panties pattern.

The front and back styles can be mixed and matched so you can build your panties with all your favourite details! The lace back is my personal favourite combined with the cut out front.

This pattern is an intermediate pattern but if you are new to lingerie sewing, don't let that put you off! There are photos for each step and tutorials on the Evie la Lùve YouTube channel which super simplifies everything so don't be afraid to dive right in.

The skills required (or you will learn on the job) with this pattern are:

  • Sewing with various lingerie elastics including FOE (fold over elastic)
  • Sewing with stretch fabrics
  • Sewing with lace

Recommended Fabrics:

  • Main Fabric - Stretch fabrics like jersey, scuba and stretch mesh.
  • Lining Fabric - Stretch fabric like cotton jersey
  • Wide Stretch Lace with at least one decorative edge

Sizes: XXS - XXL
Hips up to 110 cm / 43.5"
