From Elbe Textiles:
The Fremantle Pants are a unisex design, available in three different lengths - View A: cropped, View B: 7/8, View C: Full length. These pants are a comfortable, relaxed fit that taper in slightly at the hem. They feature side and back pockets, an elasticated waistband with a drawstring and darts on the back for subtle shaping. Great for advanced beginners and above.
NOTE: As of April 2023, the Fremantle Pants pattern has been updated. What's changed?
- The PDF is now layered. Print only the size/s you need!
- The sizing chart is more in line with my other charts - previously, this pattern jumped up in 3 inch increments from sizes H to O. I've re-graded the sizes to go up in 2 inch increments so your size name may be different if you are H and up.
- This pattern and instructions was one of my earliest and created on older software. So I completely re-did the instruction graphics, adding in a few extra details here and there.
- Extra details in the instructions - more measurements added to the Finished Garment Measurement chart, etc.
- In regards to the fit of the pants, I've taken away a bit of extra ease around the hip.
- The front pockets are bigger.
Suggested Fabrics: Main fabric - Medium to heavy weight linen, linen blends, tencel, medium weight cottons and similar woven fabrics. Lining - Lightweight to medium weight woven fabric.
Sizes: A - O (see size chart in images)
To fit hips up to 153 cm / 60.5"
