Lisa was inspired to create Lea while watching the James Bond film Spectre, where Bond Girl Léa Seydoux enters one sunny scene in a stunning 1940s inspired, button-up tea dress.
Originally released with Issue 2 of the Lisa Comfort Magazine, due to popular demand the Lea Dress is now available as a stand-alone PDF pattern.
The V-neck bodice is fitted with waist darts on the front and back and the panel skirt gives the dress movement, draping gently around the hips without adding any fullness. The short sleeves are finished with turn ups for that vintage touch, and the dress is fastened with buttons all the way down the front.
Lea is perfect for spring and summer, she is easy to wear and looks just as good in an on-trend patterned fabric as she does in a classic colour. Pick a fabric with plenty of drape, like a viscose or a crepe, to make the most of the flared skirt.
