From Making Magazine No. 10 / Intricate:
This quilt is a twist on the classic flying geese pattern, with the addition of a sunny prairie point binding. Keep it simple and focus on a single color or expand into the realm of color for more variation. I love this method of flying geese because it is a not-waste process, as no pieces of fabric to unused: using special fabric is welcomed and encouraged! I enjoy making four geese units at a time, as batching units together like this helps build the momentum to keep the quilt process flowing. ~ Maura Ambrose
