The Sylvie Dress is a fit & flare dress with feminine vintage detailing. The bodice is unlined & sleeveless, with three small darts under the bust, back waist darts, bias-bound neckline & armholes, & an invisible zipper up the center back seam. The wide lined waistband can be cut on-grain or on the bias. The skirt is an unlined gathered dirndl that can be cut on-grain or crossgrain to utilize fabric borders, & it is topped with optional large patch pockets.
